The zombie ants story, while not really a new thing as far as biology is concerned, has found its way to gossip news site Gawker. I suppose stories about science can be filed from stranger places. It's part of the zombie fashion afflicting Western pop culture today; previous appearances of the undead brain-eaters include the august pages of Foreign Affairs....
